My Canon Story

Sid Ahmed HAMEG is an accomplished event and advertising professional photographer, filmmaker, and trainer based in Algiers, Algeria. In addition to his photography career, he is a medical doctor specializing in endocrinology. With over 17 years of experience, Sid Ahmed has developed advertising campaigns for numerous international brands across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

While he prefers portrait photography, he is adept in studio photography and covers a variety of national and international events, including prestigious fashion shows and brand launches. Sid Ahmed finds the Canon Academy experience both exciting and rewarding, as he enjoys teaching the technical aspects of photography while sharing his personal journey with aspiring photographers.

Sid became a Canon certified trainer on the 19th May 2022.
