MARA GUIDES MASTERCLASS - Narok (Kenya)

A hands-on Canon workshop for safari tour guides, combining wildlife photography, safari storytelling, practical camera skills, instant printing, and new opportunities to create additional value and revenue from photography.

This immersive Canon training session is designed specifically for safari tour guides who want to enhance the guest experience through better photography, video, and visual storytelling.

Participants will explore Canon’s wildlife-focused camera and lens lineup and learn practical techniques for capturing animals in dynamic safari environments, including autofocus tracking, burst shooting, long-lens handling, low-light photography, and video for social media.

The workshop also introduces the Canon SELPHY printer as a practical tool for creating instant photo experiences for guests and explores ways guides can turn photography into an additional revenue opportunity through printed photos and premium photography services.

The day combines technical learning, hands-on practice, business insights, and content creation, ending with the launch of the Mara Content Challenge, giving participants an opportunity to showcase their work and build visibility online.
